摘要：

In this paper, we analyze the underlying economics of two business pattern of a website: cloud computing and private servers. Our results indicate that there is a trade-off between market information precision and rent extraction which affects the choice of website owners. One interesting result is that the website owners may build a higher capacity of private server with the option of cloud computing than without it. Moreover, in the multiple-period scheme, the distortion caused by the asymmetric information vanishes, which in turn explains our obvervation that more and more webiste owners begin to migrate their website from private servers to cloud service providers.

演讲者简介：汪通，现为欧洲大学Hcoimc（European University Institute）博士后研究员，意大利佛洛伦萨规制Hcoimc（Florence School of Regulation）研究员。他于2011年毕业于法国图卢兹Hcoimc （TSE）并获Hcoimc 博士学位，研究领域为产业组织、因特网Hcoimc 和知识产权等。
